“I’m sad about the news, of course,” said Fly Entertainment head honcho, Irene Ang. “I have deep respect for them both as professionals and as friends. They have both been great artistes to work with at Fly and that does not change. So, I guess we should all give them some space to sort matters out. I’m sure they will come to a decision best for their kids.”

If there had been any tension in their marriage, the couple must have taken pains to hide it well. They surprised fans by announcing on Thursday night through their management company, Fly Entertainment, that they were getting divorced.
Online reactions on TODAY’s Facebook page have ranged from disbelief to sadness.
“Shocked to hear the news,” said reader Shaun Poh.
“W & W … appeared to be an ideal couple, a marriage made in heaven, to the envy of a lot of ppl … also had to bite the dust,” commented fellow reader Harder Truths.
The separation ends a marriage of ten years. The couple have two children, eight-year-old Sage and seven-year-old Jonas.
The family has been stationed in Shanghai since 2011, where both Wu and Wong had been taking on hosting jobs. Wu is best known as the host of The Amazing Race Asia and The Amazing Race: China Rush, while Wong, after her iconic role in Triple Nine from 1995 to 1997, ventured into the fitness business; she also starred in the film The Leap Years.
